Tourist guide Alec Mack graduated from the University of the Highlands and Islands in 2013 with a first class BA (hons.) in Scottish Cultural Studies. Upon graduation he began a successful, regular walking tour in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute where he was living at that time. In the Summer of 2016 he began another walking tour, this time in Largs. Since then he has gained employment with a well known bus tour company in his home town of Glasgow and has gained a Scottish Tourist Guide Association yellow badge.
